Nyima and Her family
Meet Nyima, her husband Wuyeh, and their 4 children. They are from Brikama, The Gambia.
Nyima and Wuyeh have a 10-year-old daughter, an 8-year-old son, and 6-month old twins.
Their beautiful twins have been suffering from a re-current upper respiratory tract infection and the parents are unable to afford the medications. The mother, Nyima, as well, often gets sick from an upper respiratory tract infection. The father, Wuyeh, has chronic hypertension and foot swelling, which impacts his ability to provide for his family.
From Mother to You has referred them to a doctor for them to have a family check-up. From Mother to You has paid for that hospital visit and medication costs. As well as a gift of rice, oil, potatoes, and sugar, and cash until the father recovers and returns to work.
On behalf of Nyima and her family, From Mother to You is seeking donations to help cover the health care cost for herself and her family. A healthy family thrives!
